General Rules

The following General Rules govern all sports betting markets offered by Dada8. They set the framework for settlement, bet acceptance, event changes and related procedures.

  1. Market settlement and determination
    • The outcome of every market is final upon official determination by the relevant authority or event organizer. Where an Outright market is decided by an official publication, bets placed after the publication are void.
    • If a match is not completed and is decided by the referee or an official announcement, Dada8 will settle bets in accordance with the official result. If the official decision is issued more than 48 hours after the end of the event and undecided bets have already been treated as undecided, settlement will stand as published; bets on player specials are excluded from this provision.
    • If a market is not determined by the end of normal duration, the result is settled on the basis of the normal duration unless the market description specifies inclusion of extra time or penalties. Markets including overtime are settled only as described in the market.
    • Events not started on time or postponed may remain open for up to 48 hours from the original start time. If kickoff occurs within that window, bets remain valid; otherwise, Dada8 reserves the right to void applicable bets and refund stakes.
    • Abandoned events resumed within 48 hours: bets on markets where a result can be determined are settled on the resumed result; if not resumed within 48 hours, bets on undecided markets are void and stakes refunded, except where a market is explicitly determined by the pitch result. For two-leg fixtures, only markets on the resumed leg are affected.
    • Outright markets (short term and long term) are subject to the Play-or-Pay rule. Bets on listed participants stand regardless of participation, and head-to-head outrights are excluded. If a listed participant is replaced by another participant of the same team, team markets remain valid; individual performance markets involving the replaced participant may be void.
  2. Bet acceptance, cancellation and limits
    • Dada8 reserves the right to accept or reject any bet in whole or in part without providing a reason. If a bet is not accepted, the stake is refunded.
    • Before an event starts, Dada8 may void or cancel part or all of a bet at its discretion, including after acceptance and even after settlement, for reasons such as palpable error in wording or odds, attempts to bypass limits, use of insider information, multiple related bets, conflicts of interest with participants, or technical error in odds or events.
  3. Event changes and risk management
    • Dada8 reserves the right to cancel all bets if the venue changes. It may also cancel bets if there are radical changes to the circumstances of an event, such as length of play, distance in a race, or number of periods.
    • If Dada8 suspects fraud or match fixing, it may withhold settlement, inform regulatory authorities, and wait for the outcome before settlement or voiding bets in accordance with applicable law and policy.
  4. System integrity and timing
    • In the event of a technical interruption, Dada8 will perform standard checks related to funds, price accuracy and availability, and may accept or reject bets accordingly. Customers should verify bet acceptance in their betting history when the system becomes available again.
    • When a Video Assistant Referee (VAR) decision conflicts with the original on-pitch decision and affects bets placed in the intervening window, those bets may be voided if the VAR outcome changes the result for those bets. Bets unaffected by the VAR decision or described as including the VAR outcome may stand.
  5. Odds, settlement timing and displays
    • Dada8 displays odds using two decimal places. Total odds are calculated with a sixth decimal digit, and total winnings are truncated to two decimal places. Any discrepancy is governed by the rounding rules and is final in the customer’s account.
    • The maximum interval between a bet settlement and any potential re-settlement is 30 days.
  6. Timing thresholds and end-of-game rules
    • If a match is completed by the referee at minute 79:00 or later, markets are settled on the full-time (FT) result. If completion occurs at 78:59 or earlier, undecided markets are void. Abandoned events for reasons such as crowd disturbances or weather result in voiding undecided markets.
  7. Formats and market scope
    • The supported formats for prematch and live bets are 2x25, 2x30, 2x35, 2x40, 2x45 and 3x30. For matches with total duration outside 50 to 90 minutes, all markets are voided. In 3x30 format, halftime duration is calculated as total duration divided by two. Dada8 assumes no liability for unexpected format changes; clients accept associated risk at registration.
  9. Outrights and participant changes
    • Outright markets remain subject to the Play-or-Pay rule. Bets on listed participants stand even if a participant cannot participate for any reason. Head-to-head outrights are excluded. If a listed participant is replaced by another participant of the same team, team markets remain valid; markets related to the original participant’s individual performance may be void.

Betting Types and Scoring Markets

Dada8 defines standard time-based scoring markets as described below. All examples assume regular time unless stated otherwise.

  1. Scorers
    • First Goalscorer, Last Goalscorer and Anytime Goalscorer apply to regular time unless the market description states inclusion of extra time. Own goals, as determined by official authority, may be omitted from First Goalscorer and counted as no scorer where the game contains only own goals.
    • First Goalscorer is void if a listed player never takes the field or enters after the first goal. An own goal is ignored for the purpose of this market.
    • Last Goalscorer is void if the listed player never plays.
    • Player to score applies to any registered player, regardless of when they entered the game. Anytime Goalscorer applies to any participant, and remains valid even if the player enters late; if the player never plays, the market is void.
    • If a match is abandoned after a scorer has occurred, bets on the First Goalscorer apply and Last Goalscorer bets are void. Anytime Goalscorer for the scorer remains valid, and bets on other players are void. The same treatment applies to markets paired with 1X2 or Correct Score markets.
  2. Other Player Specials
    • Other player based markets follow the same overarching rules unless the market description specifies otherwise.

Eligibility and Compliance

You must be of legal gambling age in your jurisdiction to participate on Dada8. Access to online gambling is restricted to residents of jurisdictions where such activity is permitted by law. By registering, you confirm you meet these criteria and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Dada8 may require verification of identity and location and reserves the right to suspend or close accounts that do not comply with these requirements.
