A discussion around some of the pitfalls associated with zoning, and how it increases house prices. Restoring development right to landowners by abolishing zoning restrictions on development - as suggested in the talk - would allow landowners to greatly increase additional supply, which would compete with the existing housing stock to attract tenants, and provide a genuine path to lower prices.
