An impactful take on the Public Goods problem of market imperfection. Be sure to pair with clips of the films 'Armageddon' (1998, Rated PG-13), and 'Deep Impact' (also 1998, Rated PG-13). Note how in both movies it is government and not private parties which spearheads (and funds!) the asteroid destroying missions. Would government be necessary to fund these missions in real life?
